In addition flags are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for each race and for overall. The awards dinner is held in February at NYC. As indicated by the RCs, most of the participating Clubs are based around Humber Bay. RCYC has officially joined as a member club. ABYC has been a member for a few years. The SIs and other documents can be found at Entry is free and can be made by e-mail. Start signal is at 11:30 with four starts: two white sail followed by two FS. This year there are scheduled to be two IRCs starts as well. The IRC starts will be starts 5 and 6 and will begin on August 16. The race course is set in Humber Bay and is usually about 12 miles long. Division flags are available through the Club’s Representative. John Waddel will unfortunately not be available as PRO for this year’s Argosy. John has been a great supporter of this series and his absence will be missed. (Thanks John, and hope to see you next year) Replacing him as NYC PRO is “PK” Smith. “PK” is the regular PRO for Thursday night races.
