The beige plastic docks don’t get lifted at haul out, as they aren’t designed to be lifted as a unit. They have been tucked into a protected spot at the north end of the main docks.
This year, they were moved with Storm King roped in the centre of the “J” section. Not so much lumberjack work as when the docks are towed straight behind Storm King.
It was a nice sunny day with very little wind. The docks were positioned between the permanent fingers and tied off with no trouble. They are sitting in the middle of the ice for the winter and should be quite well until spring.
