It’s always a little sad at haul-out. While it means the end of the season, that’s only here in Toronto — okay, most of North America. But many of you will head south for winter sailing adventures, expand your sailing education and count the days until launch next Spring.

One editor made the acquaintance of a certain brave Colin. He’s heading south to undertake a circumnavigation on a 55′ catamaran. We look to republishing his stories once he sets off in February-ish.

Whatever you do, we’d love to hear your stories and see your photos. If you do anything fun and interesting during the off-season that you’d like to share, please contact your newsletter committee at newsletter@thenyc.com .
