Download the poster. We offer Crew and Skipper Banks providing an opportunity to those who would otherwise not qualify for a Caribbean Cruise on their own. While some of our skippers will be bringing their own crew, other skippers will be looking for crew, and we already know that there are NYC crew looking for skippers. You don’t have to be an experienced sailor to partic ipate, in fact, you don’t even need to be a sailor, as we try to provide space aboard for any interested party. Some of the best accolades for these trips have come from them. There are many NYC Members that can provide you with their opinions as to the value and pleasure that they have gotten from their participation. Just ask. I’m sure that they’ll be happy to describe their experiences. I’ve attached our poster announcing this event, providing the details on how to sign up. If you have any questions, or need more detail, feel free to contact me via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or on my cell at 416-727-1822. E-mail should be your first choice. By Harvey CracknellAs our Sailing Season draws to a close (alas), it’s time to plan to avoid the blah’s of the upcoming winter months. At the National there’s a number of sailors who plan to be in the BVI’s next February as part of our traditional group sail. We are organizing another Flotilla for February 18-28, 2014. Eleven days of pure sailing hedonism. This will be our 30th Flotilla hosted over the last 22 years, almost all of them into the British Virgin Islands, and all strongly supported by our Club members. While we invite sailors from yacht clubs everywhere in Ontario to join us, we traditionally have NYC Members that account for more than 60% of our participants.
