Skippers Still Wanted!
National
Yacht Club is about to start the Introduction to Keelboat Sailing Class
and needs help!
This is a
great opportunity to meet some new Club Members, introduce them to your boat
and hopefully give you good access to crew for the coming sailing season.
Please let
us know if you would be available to help with any or all of the following
three Monday nights:
Monday May 5th. 5.45pm-7.30pm
We will bring students to your boat for you to introduce them to the main parts
of the boat, the equipment and sails etc.
NEW! Thursday May
8th. - 5.45pm-7.30pm - Dockside - introduction to the spinnaker
and use of spinnakers
Monday May 12th
5.45pm Short 1-2 hour introductory cruise
Monday May 19th
5.45pm Short 1-2 hour introductory cruise
Your
assistance in one, two or all three evenings will be very much appreciated.
NB. If you
need experienced crew to help you out on these evenings, please let us know in
advance so we can place someone on your boat to help.
