Water levels on Lake Superior, Lake St.Clair, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario are below their all-time average for this time of year and are above the level of Chart Datum. Montreal Harbour and Lake Michigan-Huron is below their all-time average for this time of year and are below the level of Chart Datum. Mariners should exercise extreme caution throughout the entire system, especially during periods of strong winds when water levels can rise or fall significantly in a short period of time.

THE HARBOUR MASTER’S OFFICE OF THE PORT OF TORONTO ADVISES MARINERS TO EXERCISE ADDITIONAL CAUTION WHILE IN SHALLOW WATERS, PARTICULARLY INSIDE THE WESTERN BEACHES BREAKWATER, WHERE MARINERS ARE REMINDED THAT THERE ARE NUMEROUS SHALLOW WATERS IN THE AREA WITH THE DEEPER WATERS TENDING TO BE CLOSER TO THE BREAKWATER (SOUTH SIDE).

MARINERS SHOULD REFER TO CANADIAN HYDROGRAPHIC SERVICE CHART 2085.
