Features and Benefits of the National Yacht Club

Join UsToronto’s waterfront enjoys a great variety of boating facilities, including several marinas and over 15 yacht clubs. For those looking for a more involved boating lifestyle, an association with fellow boaters at one of the city’s yacht clubs has more appeal. National Yacht Club offers all boaters almost a full range of marine facilities as well as social activities with a sense of camaraderie that comes from a shared boating experience.

National Yacht Club Advantages:

  • Choice of serviced docks (waiting list only) or swing moorings for both sail and power boats
  • Super-popular Racing and Cruising Crew Banks for our non-boat owning members
  • Members’ dining room and bar, open all year with a truly magnificent view (a great spot to watch the air show and the fireworks)
  • Limited on-site winter boat storage
  • Free parking for members
  • Very active racing/cruising program well supported by the membership and serviced by, what we think, is the best volunteer race committee on the lake
  • Casual, friendly, cheerful atmosphere
  • Busy winter and summer social calendar – bands and dancing all year long
  • Family oriented activities
  • Dynamic Junior sailing program
  • Wide variety of courses for adults at competitive rates

National Yacht Club is maintained by its members with help from a small professional staff. We have an active volunteer committee system that organizes such activities as entertainment, racing, regattas, haul-out and publicity to mention just a few. If this type of boating appeals to you, please give us a call and come and check us out. We’d be delighted to show you around our club.
