On the waterfront in Downtown Toronto since 1894 From novice to old salt, there is a place for everyone at National Yacht Club.

What is NOTSA?

“NOTSA" stands for the "National Yacht Club Old Timers' Sailing Association". Founded in 1954, it's an informal group of current or past NYC members. NOTSA members are: past or present Senior or Crew members of the NYC, 55 years of age or older, having been in good standing for 10 years or more, and having been sailors for 10 years or more.

NOTSA has tended to be a well-kept secret around NYC; many potential NOTSA members don't even know NOTSA exists, or that they meet NOTSA's "stringent" membership requirements.

If you find NOTSA appeals to you and you are interested in joining, meet us for lunch on Tuesday May 9. If you decide to join, the annual dues are $25, and they entitle you to race in the NOTSA Annual Regatta.

NOTSA meets for three main events in the year:
  • AGM & Luncheon - Tuesday, 9 May 2017 (Tuesday after Launch, Chart Room)
  • REGATTA & Luncheon - Sunday, 11 June 2017 (The 2nd Sunday in June, Chart Room and Patio)
  • Sailors Night Dinner – Thursday, 26 October 2017 (Thursday after Haul Out, Dining Room)

Additionally, some NOTSA members get together for casual Friday lunches and just to shoot the breeze.
