Sailing and Racing School

National’s Junior Learn To Sail & Racing Programs is a FUN and AFFORDABLE Sail Canada-certified program for ages seven and up. Learn To Sail kids will be introduced to boats and water activities, includes sailing and basically “messing about in boats.” Classes are taught in several different types of boats including, Optimist, Laser, and 420 dinghies.

Off the water activities include exploring the Island beaches and neighbouring parks. When the kids are not sailing, they will be involved in fun activities such as games, arts and crafts, and much more. We are conveniently situated near public transit as well as having easy car access.

Our 50 YEAR tradition of teaching sailing and sailboat racing has seen graduates go on to become Olympians. National’s youth racers include both national and Ontario ranked racers with several graduates having gone on to become CYA-certified sailing instructors.
