Welcome to the 2010 Racing & Cruising Series! The traditional continues this year with the series being comprised of the Spring Round the Island Race, the Frigidaire Cruise Race and the Fall Round the Island Race. All three are fun races and we encourage both non-racers and racers a like to enter these events. There will be an overall score for the series and the sum of your two lowest scores will count as your overall score,
The Spring Round the Island Race will be held on May 24th, the Victoria Holiday Monday, The Frigidaire Cruise will be held on Sunday, August 15th and the Fall Round the Island Race will be held on Saturday October 2nd.
As in the past each event will:
· have handicapped and one design divisions,
· be scored as a stand alone event as in previous years.
· have the traditional trophies awarded for each race;
· maintain the same general course used in previous years.
Registered Skippers will receive a Skippers Bag, which will be available from the Sailing Office 2 hours prior to the first start.
Registration is required for each event and the registration form will be available on the website and in the tray attached to the Official Notice Board located on the north side of the west hallway. Please forward the completed registration form to the club’s office.
